Techrights Statement on Microsoft's Fake Results, Due This Week (Puff Pieces About "AI Revenue" Being Disseminated Already)
This [1, 2] is not the behaviour of a fiscally-sound company:
WE expect Microsoft to repeat the same old tune tomorrow night (by US time, it's "today" for the UK and Europe), relying on a lack of independent audits. Microsoft just says whatever it wants and nobody checks the books. Except Microsoft staff. We'll pay close attention to how much the debt grew this past quarter (who audits this?) - a subject nobody in the media bothers to report on (it's easier to just reproduce "tweets" and parrot Microsoft's press release/s).
OF COURSE Microsoft will FAKE its "results" this evening, i.e. the usual. They already hype up "AI revenue" even if the income - not revenue - is negative.
What's gonna stop them from defrauding shareholders?
In the US, not only do corporations regulate the government1,2 (inversion), they also elect the government by bribes and "lobbying". They even control the courts, at least some of the time... that's how they get government regulators out of their way. Microsoft did this only months ago. Basically, the judge who allowed Microsoft to take over a company (and then lay off many in that company) is the mother of a Microsoft employee! Go ahead and tell us that corruption is a Russian and Chinese thing. █
