Reminder: Microsoft is Already Laying Off Its "AI" Staff and Shuts Down "AI" Projects/Teams Completely, Recognising It's All Hype, Not a Future (Except of Debt and Losses)
THIS is an objective, observable reality, not induced perception (orchestrated by Microsoft-sponsored media).
Evidence? Plenty exists.
One example from this past October (we had covered several other examples)
The media seems to be catching up with reality. Did Microsoft's media subsidies for puff pieces about chatbots exhaust themselves? No more false statements in the press every hour of the day in every language? Microsoft's debt has grown steadily every quarter since it unveiled chatbots. In the last quarter (3 months) Microsoft's debt increased by 26 billion dollars, which is more than Microsoft's total income. █
"Microsoft, the world’s most valuable company, declared a profit of $4.5 billion in 1998; when the cost of options awarded that year, plus the change in the value of outstanding options, is deducted, the firm made a loss of $18 billion, according to Smithers."
