Linus Torvalds is Extremely Angry at This Person Right Now (But the Code of Censorship Prevents Him From Talking Frankly)
Torvalds is not permitted to name and shame (thanks, Linux Foundation), but we can.
Nice Microsoft you got there....
AS we've just noted, it doesn't look like Linux 6.6 is happening today (it's already nighttime in Portland where Torvalds is based) and this person with a loongson.cn
address (Huacai Chen) is softly confronting Torvalds having not just failed technically but also deceived/lied to cover this up until the very last moment. Chen seems to have some history with the Huazhong University of Science and Technology [1, 2] where he wrote some papers, e.g. [1, 2, 3], but tonight he is watched closely by thousands who await a Linux release but realise it's probably not going to happen despite Torvlads having the whole thing ready to go. Notice in this last message how the Code of Censorship prevents Torvalds from resorting to any real rebuke. If people are not punished for deceiving about their failed/failing code, why won't they do it again? █
