A Need for Bolder FSF

THE video above (or on the side) isn't a mindless rant but a frank proposal. A "Modest Proposal" or reasonable proposal perhaps.
Having discussed this matter for a while, and having consulted other Free software supporters, it seems fair to say there's consensus (in circles I frequent) that the FSF does not speak often enough, at least in its official capacity in the site. Press releases ought to come out more often, rather than "social control media posts"... and more topics ought to be covered, including what IBM has been up to with RHEL. The FSF also needs to defend its key people. Inaction generally embolden more attacks on the GPL and people who created the GPL.
The FSF needs a mother's love (or father's love) and people who invest in the work of the FSF must get a sense that precarious figures are protected or sheltered by the institutions they founded.
What needs to happen, in our humble assessment, is a change in attitude... a transition back into something more 'gutsy', wherein the FSF speaks out and says what companies like IBM do not want to hear. Risky? Maybe. But the FSF should not always "play it safe"; it should be ready to tackle the difficult stuff too, confronting the companies which always look for confrontations while throwing Codes of Censorship (CoCs) at GNU and the FSF. █
