Be Sure to Also Follow Tux Machines for GNU/Linux and Software Freedom
WE have only just published this short article about security theatre (don't mind the 'Engrish' above) and there's another article in the sister site about the Software Freedom Conservancy (SFC). We generally advise all Techrights readers who care for Software Freedom and GNU/Linux (or BSDs) to also follow us in the other site, which has an RSS feed that's updated about 50 times per day. We nowadays try to separate the content of the two sites so as to avoid wasteful overlap (that overlap or cross-posting used to take up a lot of our time).
There's still a lot going on in the Free software world, the problem is that there's so little reporting about it. Many sites perish (even some very high-profile sites shut down the other day), some of them without formally announcing that, and we must reduce overlap so as to reduce duplication of effort/s, in turn freeing some time to make more articles and more researching for future articles (the latter can take a lot of time, it's not just a matter of typing words). █
