WE are extremely gratified to see that "statCounter has also begun releasing some early, preliminary data" showing GNU/Linux at around 8% in laptops and desktops worldwide. It's a longstanding, ongoing upward trend. Windows is down, GNU/Linux is up. A lot of the latter's growth is in developing countries. In India, for instance, GNU/Linux is up to about 15% and the news says "India Resumes Laptop and Tablet Imports After Ban Scare" (i.e. more domestic products).
The video above focuses on what the world would be like without (or after) Windows. GNU/Linux is already dominant in servers and Linux in "Android" form is prevalent in mobile devices.█
